Visva Bharati, a Central University and an institution of national importance invites application for the following faculty positions :

1. Professor – 01 Post:Pay Scale : Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP Rs.10000
2. Associate Professor – 15 Posts:Pay Scale : Rs. 37400-67000 with AGP Rs.9000
3. Assistant Professor – 06 Posts:Pay Scale : Rs. 15600-39100 with AGP Rs.6000.

 

Note : Qualification and experience may be relaxed at the discretion of the University. Relaxation as per rules, to candidates belonging to reserved categories. 5% relaxation in marks (from 55% to 50%)  may be provided  to Ph.D. Degree holders, who obtained  Master’s Degree prior to 19 September, 1991.

Increments : Selected candidates will be given M.Phil and Ph. D increments as per rules.

Application fee : For Professors / Associate professors - Rs.800/- for General and OBC Candidates (`200/- for SC/ST for Candidates ; NO fee for PH Candidates) ; For Assistant Professors - `400/- for General and OBC Candidates (`100/- for SC/ST & NO fee for PH Candidates) – DD drawn on State Bank of India, Santiniketan branch (2121) in favor of Accounts Officer, Visva-Bharati.

How to Apply : Candidates are required to apply in the prescribed format (12 Photo Copies & one Original). The application complete in all respects with necessary enclosures like attested copies of photo-copies of testimonials/ certificates and two recent passport size photographs signed in full (at the bottom), by the candidate including the DD for the Application fee should be sent to The Registrar, Visva-Bharati, P.O.-Santiniketan, Pin- 731235.
